This initiative is an attempt to capture and contain a collection of curated ideas, images and knowledge (mine and others’) for my children and grandchildren. It’s a new paradigm, and a way for me to hopefully leave some enduring imprint of my time here. Hopefully, it will give my family some leverage in their own journeys, and document it for their children and grandchildren.

The plan is that the initiative will provide a boilerplate for the replication of The Grampa Zone so that other families may develop their own similar websites. The goal, further, is to develop a library of blog articles that subscribers can select from in the customization of their own legacy blog websites. Additionally, each member can contribute (for account credit) original articles, narrated stories and images of general interest to the central library that others can utilize.

This should foster a larger appreciation for a continuing commitment to preserving generational wisdom and higher ideals that positively influence future generations. In time, with the development of new technologies, it is easy to imagine an evolving and user-friendly collection of knowledge and wisdom.
